Questions
Can parents use these for the child care tax credit?
The receipt shows who paid, how much, when and what it was for. Parents also need your tax ID for the credit: add your EIN to the details printed on your receipts. Never put a Social Security number on a receipt. This isn't tax advice.
What about a deposit or registration fee?
Log it as a deposit or as another payment. Deposits are kept apart in your year summary.
Does Venda collect the money?
No. Your families pay you the way they do today, by Zelle®, check, cash or money order. Venda keeps the record and sends the receipt.
