How SNAP works at a market
At most markets you swipe your EBT card at the market's information booth and get tokens or paper scrip to spend at the stalls. That way every farmer selling eligible food can take SNAP, not just those approved on their own, and unused SNAP scrip can be refunded to your card.
How SNAP scrip works: USDA Food and Nutrition Service, Scrip System (read October 27, 2026).
Listings can be out of date, and seasons change, so check a market's own site before you go. SNAP markets in other states
